Meet Our Attorney
Jerry A. McDonald, Esq.


Jerry McDonald is the owner of The Law Office of Jerry A. McDonald, PLC, and a native of Louisville, Kentucky. After serving in the US Navy and the Submarine Force for seven years, he returned to Kentucky where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Mr. McDonald received his Master of Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned a Juris Doctor Degree degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota, and he is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Mr. McDonald has worked with the Southwest Metro Chamber of Commerce, its predecessor the Chanhassen Chamber of Commerce, and the current Chanhassen Business Council on community development, business promotional and community educational opportunities to bring awareness of business activities to the community. Mr. McDonald has been practicing law in Chanhassen, Minnesota, since 2002 and is currently a member of the Chanhassen City Council. As an elected city official, he works with other elected members and the city staff to set policy and enact zoning and development standards.
